Take Advantage of your personal Brain Cycles

Writing by bwerner on Wednesday, 24 of September , 2008 at 1:14 pm

Inside your body there is a biorhythm operating 24/7 known as the Basic Rest-Activity Cycle (BRAC).
While some biological cycles last for many days, the BRAC oscillates consistently at between 90 and 120 minutes.

There is a portion of this cycle in which people can be most creative and daydream it’s the so-called

Rest portion:

At this phase all, the cells in the body are taking time out to rejuvenate and rebalance.
During this sanative response portion of the cycle, there embodies more right hemispheric electrical activity, a Spatial cognitive mode and a settling down of the autonomic nervous system.

Halfway in the rest cycle is a minimum cycle of about twenty-minutes. This happens when many cells of the brain that carry critical messenger molecules, such as adrenaline, are nearing empty.

The Active portion:
During this peak performance period of the cycle, there is greater electrical activity in the left
Hemisphere, a verbal cognitive mode, and the autonomic nervous system are in a phase of sympathetic predominance.

This signifies that it is on awareness. Raised physical activity, mental vigilance, and energy stands for that logic, rationality, and a black and white approach is exercised.

People who are continuously over-stimulated do not undergo the chance to reload their internal energies.

The systema nervosum centrale, being forced to argue with the ever-constant activeness, will hold back the resting period, leading to exhaustion in the short-run, and blow out in the long-term.
To better outfit a person in administering stress, does exist techniques to maximize the resourcefulness’s of each side of the brain.

An interesting test to indicate which side of the brain is dominant at any given time is to simply inhale through the nostrils. The nostril that aspirates the greater quantity of breeze constitutes a contra-lateral indicator of the dominant brain side.
Put differently, if the right nostril absorbs more air, then the left hemisphere is dominant, signaling that the person is currently in the active part of the cycle.

In the long-term, encourage whole-brain activity through specific kinesthetic activities. Examples are cross-lateral physical exercises and eye pattern movements. You can also enrich inter-hemispheric communication by using your non-dominant hand to hold a cup, or brush your teeth.

Whatsoever think about advantaging of your non-dominant brain activity, the creative part of your brain, to exercise your different brains activity employ meditative exercises through which you’ll reach to best know your brains activity and above that you profit from the Rest phase and do recharge energy what will make you feel better. You can also observe your different biofeedback phases directly on your computer, in that way you can exercise your different patterns and with a biometric software reduce the physiological effects that stress is having on your body and mental well being and energy levels.

    Emotional Intelligence

Writing by bwerner on Thursday, 18 of September , 2008 at 6:10 pm

3 Aspects Of Emotional Intelligence As Per Daniel Goleman

The book written on emotional intelligence by the coveted writer Daniel Goleman has broken through a lot of myths. It used to be considered that the emotional aspect of a human being is exactly opposite to his/her rational aspect. However, with the ground breaking work of Daniel Goleman people are gradually coming to realize the importance of emotional intelligence in ones life.

On its outer appearance, the book may look like just another, average, shiny hard-bound self-development book, however, a closer look will reveal many interesting aspects. Such observations may specifically be in the part of the book that is about How to be more effective at work and get promoted. This part specifically attempts to break the defenses of people and appeals to their materialistic senses.

The book offers value much beyond its worth in money. “Emotional Intelligence” by Daniel Goldman brings forth a significant fact quite admirably that the course of a person’s life is determined as much by the persons EQ (Emotional Quotient) as it is by his/her IQ (Intelligence Quotient).

The immense value and attention that the concept of rational thinking receives is put to question. It is a commonly held misconception that a person can make correct decisions in life only based on rational thought and emotions should better be kept at bay. David Golemans ‘Emotional Intelligence’ breaks through this notion, to establish the importance that emotions deserve in any important decision of life.

A significant assertion that David Golemans has made in his work is that emotional intelligence can both be cultivated and destroyed by the conduct of an individual. One is not born with it and develops it over a period of time depending on the person’s environment and circumstances. The more trying emotional situations that a person faces in his/her life, the more better EQ the person develops and thus is able to tide over the viscitudes of life much easily.

Daniel Golemans book reveals certain aspects of an individuals’ life that can be directly attributed to his/her emotional intelligence. These are as follows:

    1) Self-Awareness - Such ability helps the person to evaluate oneself. Most of the times people are so blinded by their own shortcomings that they aren’t able to think objectively. However, a person with better emotional intelligence levels never feels overwhelmed by his/her emotions and is able to clearly separate hi/her thoughts from his/her emotions.

    2) Control over Impulses - The level of an individuals’ emotional intelligence also determines his/her efficiency in controlling impulsive behaviors and actions. A person who is emotionally well equipped will always be able to weigh the options correctly and be in better control of his/her emotions.

    3) Sociability - This is a very important sphere of ones life that is affected greatly by the individuals’ emotional intelligence. To interact with other people socially not only involves our own emotional state of life, but also brings into play our ability to show sensitiveness to other peoples emotions. A person who is emotionally well aware can go very far in life by the effectiveness of his/her social interactions based on sound EQ levels.

Daniel Golemans ‘Emotional Intelligence’ is targeted at the core of human principles and is written to appeal to the people all over the world. It may appear to be like just another get-rich-quick system at some places, but closer observation will throw up some valid arguments. If studied and applied religiously, this book has the potential to change the course of your life for better.

The ILLUMINATI - The new world Order

Writing by bwerner on Thursday, 11 of September , 2008 at 10:57 am

My today’s post relates only from the title (Illuminated)to my personal development blog, but in occurrence of the 11th Sept. I feel necessary to talk also about such theme since it regards us all! Meanwhile I know not for sure that this information is correct but it seems verisimilar!

    The ILLUMINATI
    The NEW WORLD ORDER
As the word itself the Illuminated are the bearers of light, those who know, but their light is, apparently, Lucifer or Satan…? They belong to thirteen of the richest families in the world and are the persons who really command the world from behind the scenes. They’re also defined as the Black Nobility, Decision Makers, who makes the rules for presidents and governments.
Their characteristic is to be hidden from the eyes of the public.
Their family trees go back thousands of years and they are very careful to maintain their bond of blood from generation to generation without interruption.

Their power resides in the occult and in the economy, one of their mottos is: “money creates power.”
They possess all International Banks, the oil sector and all the more powerful industrial and commercial sectors, but especially they are infiltrated in politics and do command most governments and supranational bodies first among all the UN and the International Monetary Fund and accordingly WHO (World Health Organization).
An example of the way they operate is the election of President of the United States, who among the candidates has more Sponsors in the form of money, wins the elections because this money has the power to “destroy” the other candidate.
And who is sponsoring the winning candidate? Obviously the Illuminated through their many facade organizations, they make sure to fund both candidates, to maintain the “game” alive even if they have already decided who will be the winner and ensure to him more money.
Their plans are always far-sighted. What is the objective of the Illuminati?
Create a One World Government and a New World Order (they control)

    Here a two videos:

If you want to see more go to YouTube or Google there’re plenty of them!

    Their attempt:
The establishment of a World Government could finally see the light after another number of years in which the World Body has created and run so to speak some of the basic institutions for the regulation of common policies: health, environment, school and work.
Only in a second phase, when it will be “identified and suggested” a social conscience and common, global-oriented “universally thinking and acting locally”, it should be possible to establish other institutions, including a judicial order and a single general world army and thus the solemn declaration of World Government.
This their programme …. but perhaps the second part is “already” starting ….. and the U.S. (military) are their long arm to secular force …. for to obligate to do this the Illuminati order. … even the Network WEB is in the hands of the U.S. ….
We work ALL so that ‘this World Dictatorship will sunk and destroyed!

The importance of sleep on memory and emotions

Writing by bwerner on Wednesday, 10 of September , 2008 at 9:28 am

Sleep choose what to remember and  what forget.

The emotions and images that have hit the soul and shook the feelings are preserved thanks to sleep.
During sleep the mind selects  what remember and what not, and abandons the neutral memories to preserve those emotionally significant.
This is confirmed by a study conducted by researchers from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and at Boston College and published in the  Psychological Science journal.
The role of sleep in the process of preserving so-called procedural memory, or really the remembering how to do something (such as playing the piano) was already known.
Now the U.S. study has clarified the mechanism that regulates the episodic memory.

This memory consists of emotionally elements loads and of elements only marginally related to the emotions (neutral memory) explain the researchers.
In the study were involved 88 students that were shown neutral images with neutral persons (one car parked in front of a shop) and emotionally powerful images (the same car after an accident destroyed parked along a road very similar to earlier).
The students were divided into three groups. Members of the first was asked what they reminded after only thirty minutes, to those of second group  the same question was directed to them at the end of the day, after twelve hours, and to the third still after twelve hours but in which were included a night of sleep.

The results of the survey showed that the emotional component was mentioned in the same way in the first and third group, in both cases better than in the second group.

While regarding the neutral component the only ones who remember were the members of the first group.
One can say that at night is the sleep in deciding what it is worth remembering and what we can forget.

    Meditation and the Brain

Writing by bwerner on Sunday, 7 of September , 2008 at 4:08 pm

Hi, I’m back, it was a long time since my last post but now I’m here again and it will continue with my post like before. Since I’ll convince you to practice Meditation my first post is about that.

Mindfulness meditation and related techniques are intended to train attention for the sake of provoking insight. Think of it as the opposite of attention deficit disorder. A wider, more flexible attention span makes it easier to be aware of a situation, easier to be objective in emotionally or morally difficult situations, and easier to achieve a state of responsive, creative awareness or “flow“.

One theory, presented by Daniel Goleman & Tara Bennett-Goleman (2001), suggests that meditation works because of the relationship between the amygdala and the prefrontal cortex. In very simple terms, the amygdala is the part of the brain that decides if we should get angry or anxious (among other things), and the pre-frontal cortex is the part that makes us stop and think about things (it is also known as the inhibitory centre).

So, the prefrontal cortex is very good at analyzing and planning, but it takes a long time to make decisions. The amygdala, on the other hand, is simpler (and older in evolutionary terms). It makes rapid judgements about a situation and has a powerful effect on our emotions and behaviour, linked to survival needs. For example, if a human sees a lion leaping out at them, the amygdala will trigger a fight or flight response long before the prefrontal cortex responds.
But in making snap judgments, our amygdalas are prone to error, such as seeing danger where there is none. This is particularly true in contemporary society where social conflicts are far more common than encounters with predators, and a basically harmless but emotionally charged situation can trigger uncontrollable fear or anger — leading to conflict, anxiety, and stress.
Because there is roughly a quarter of a second gap between the time an event occurs and the time it takes the amygdala to react, a skilled meditator may be able to intervene before a fight or flight response takes over, and perhaps even redirect it into more constructive or positive feelings.
The different roles of the amygdala and prefrontal cortex can be easily observed under the influence of various drugs. Alcohol depresses the brain generally, but the sophisticated prefrontal cortex is more affected than less complex areas, resulting in lowered inhibitions, decreased attention span, and increased influence of emotions over behaviour. Likewise, the controversial drug ritalin has the opposite effect, because it stimulates activity in the prefrontal cortex.

Some studies of meditation have linked the practice to increased activity in the left prefrontal cortex, which is associated with concentration, planning, meta-cognition (thinking about thinking), and positive affect (good feelings). There are similar studies linking depression and anxiety with decreased activity in the same region, and/or with dominant activity in the right prefrontal cortex. Meditation increases activity in the left prefrontal cortex, and the changes are stable over time — even if you stop meditating for a while, the effect lingers.
